β—† How it works

Sign up Tuesday.
First direct order Friday.

We don't do six-week implementations. We don't need a project manager. The self-serve flow is 30 minutes; concierge tier is a handful of phone calls and a domain handoff. Here's what every step looks like.

The first three weeks.

01Day 1 Β· 30 min

Sign up. Paste your business details.

Legal name, EIN, contact email, brand colors, ZIP code. We provision your organization, create your first brand, and reserve your subdomain (yourname.app.zayrev.com β€” you'll point a custom domain later). You walk away with a working dashboard.

02Day 1 Β· 15 min

Stripe Connect onboarding.

One link, one form. Stripe verifies your business identity and bank routing. You're cleared to take payments by end of the first call. Concierge tier: we paste the form for you, you just hit submit.

03Day 2-3 Β· 1 hour

Menu lands.

Three options. (a) AI-import from a photo or PDF of your current menu β€” usually 80% accurate, you fix the rest. (b) Pull from your POS via Otter. (c) Hand-load β€” we provide a CSV template. Concierge tier does this for you and emails screenshots to confirm.

POST /api/menu/import-pdf β†’ AI extracts categories, items, modifiers, prices
04Day 4-5 Β· operator chooses

Soft launch.

Your direct site goes live behind your subdomain. You get the URL, share it with friends, family, regulars. First test orders flow through, you see them on the kitchen tablet, you see them on the dashboard. Confidence-builder week.

05Week 2

Custom domain + marketplace ingestion.

Point yourname.com (or whatever your existing domain is) at us. We push your menu to Otter; Otter cascades to DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates. Now every channel β€” direct + every marketplace β€” flows into one inbox. Customers find you everywhere.

DNS: CNAME yourname.com β†’ cname.zayrev.com
06Week 3

Marketing turned on.

Customer database is now real. We turn on AI-drafted broadcast emails, Google review responses, and the first welcome-bonus loyalty offer. By week three you're running the kind of operation the chains have, with one person.

β—† The kitchen view

One tablet. Every channel. No training.

Your line cook walks in, taps the tablet, and sees a single feed of orders β€” DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, your direct site, phone-ins, catering β€” all in one place, ordered by when they need to leave the kitchen. Tap accept, tap ready, tap handed-off. That's it.

Live feed Β· 6:47 PM Friday
DDNEW6:43Maria Β· DoorDash β€” 2Γ— shawarma plate, 1Γ— hummus
DIRACCEPTED6:42Joel Β· direct β€” 1Γ— falafel wrap, garlic on side
UEREADY6:36Uber Eats #2841 β€” 1Γ— catering tray (small)
DDOUT6:31DoorDash Β· driver Hiro Β· 2 min away β€” 1Γ— lamb plate, 1Γ— ayran

Real order flow during a typical Friday rush. Your team isn't bouncing between four tablets.

β—† Onboarding FAQ

What every operator asks before signing.

Do I have to switch off DoorDash?+
No. You add Zayos alongside DoorDash. Marketplace orders keep flowing through Otter into your inbox. Direct orders are an additional channel β€” they just happen to be the most profitable one.
What if my POS is something old / weird?+
Otter supports 25+ POS systems including the ones nobody else does (Brink, Revel, Heartland Restaurant). If you're on something exotic, the concierge tier sets up a tablet-based workflow as a fallback. You won't be left out.
Will my staff need training?+
The kitchen tablet is one screen. Accept Β· Preparing Β· Ready Β· Handed off. Most kitchens are fluent in 10 minutes. If your line cook can use a tablet to play music, they can use this.
What about my catering customers?+
Catering is a separate flow β€” embedded inquiry form on your site, AI auto-quotes within 24 hours, capacity-aware scheduling so you don't double-book a Saturday. Concierge tier turns this on by default.
Can I run two brands from one kitchen?+
Yes. Multi-brand at one location is the whole reason Zayos exists. Each brand gets its own subdomain, its own colors, its own customer database. Orders route to the right kitchen station based on the brand. Ghost-kitchen ready.
What if you can't deliver in my area?+
Otter's dispatch network covers most of the US. If your zip code falls outside, we hand off to your existing courier or your in-house drivers β€” same workflow, different fulfillment. Talk to us before you sign and we'll confirm coverage.
